Την απόκτηση του Ζακ ΛεΝτέι ανακοίνωσε η Χάποελ Τελ Αβίβ, με τον έμπειρο Αμερικανό φόργουορντ να υπογράφει συμβόλαιο διάρκειας δύο ετών και να γίνεται το νέο μεταγραφικό «χτύπημα» του ισραηλινού συλλόγου.
Ο 32χρονος Αμερικανός φόργουορντ υπέγραψε διετές συμβόλαιο με τον ισραηλινό σύλλογο, αφήνοντας την Αρμάνι Μιλάνο, όπου αγωνιζόταν από το 2024. Την περασμένη σεζόν στη EuroLeague είχε μέσο όρο 11,8 πόντους και 4,5 ριμπάουντ σε 25 λεπτά συμμετοχής.
Για την απόκτησή του ενδιαφέρθηκε και η Παρτίζαν, όμως η Χάποελ κατάφερε να κερδίσει τη μάχη της υπογραφής του, προσθέτοντας στο ρόστερ της έναν από τους πιο σταθερούς και ποιοτικούς φόργουορντ της διοργάνωσης.
Η άφιξη του ΛεΝτέι ενισχύει ακόμη περισσότερο τη γραμμή των ψηλών της ομάδας του Δημήτρη Ιτούδη, εκεί όπου βρίσκεται ήδη ο Νταν Οτούρου, ο οποίος ανανέωσε πρόσφατα το συμβόλαιό του έως το 2029.

Hapoel IBI Tel Aviv Basketball Club is pleased to announce the signing of Zach LeDay on a two-year contract through the end of the 2027/28 season.
LeDay (32, 2.02m / 6’8″), one of Europe’s premier frontcourt players in recent years, joins Hapoel after two seasons with EA7 Emporio Armani Milan. During the last season, he averaged 13.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 0.5 steals per EuroLeague game, while shooting 51.4% from two-point range and 49.5% from three-point range.
LeDay began his collegiate career at the University of South Florida (2012–2014) before transferring to Virginia Tech, where he played from 2015 to 2017. He started his professional career in Israel with Hapoel Gilboa Galil, before going on to play for Olympiacos, Žalgiris Kaunas, Olimpia Milano, Partizan Belgrade and, following a second stint with Milano, now joins Hapoel Tel Aviv.
